This project offers a reflection on the natural and historical landscape of Drenthe, a province in the northeast of the Netherlands shaped by open heathlands, prehistoric monuments, and centuries-old rural settlements. Combining photography with historical research, the series explores how traces of the past remain visible in the land—through megalithic hunebedden, cut peat fields, and the quiet geometry of agricultural life. It reflects a landscape where traces of time are part of the everyday.
